February 6, 2018 – New York, NY Prager Metis CPAs, a leading accounting and advisory firm with offices in North America, Europe, and Asia, has relocated one of its New Jersey offices from Morganville (formerly the Bernknopf Group) to Cranbury, NJ. The move to a larger, newly renovated location at 1249 South River Road, Suite 303, Cranbury New Jersey was effective February 1, 2018.
Steven Bernknopf and the entire Morganville team will continue to operate out of the new Cranbury location. In addition, several Prager Metis partners and staff members will be relocating to the new office space.
Michael Aroyo, CPA, will be relocating to Cranbury and will serve as the office’s Managing Partner. In this capacity, Michael will have full oversight of Prager Metis’ Cranbury Office and will be working closely with Regional Managing Partner of New Jersey, Lori Roth, to continue to grow the firm’s New Jersey presence. His key responsibilities will include growth, profitability, management, leadership, organization, and personnel. He will also continue to be co-chair of the audit department for the firm.
Michael specializes in a full range of audit and accounting services as well as consulting services. This includes over 30 years of experience in various industries, including professional services, closely held businesses, media and entertainment, private wealth, real estate, and employee benefit plans. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he serves as a current member and past chairman of the Accounting and Review Services Committee.
“We moved from Morganville to Cranbury for a few reasons,” says Michael. “First, we needed more space to accommodate our growing staff. This allows us enough space to expand our office to over 25 people. Second, we are excited to be joining the Basking Ridge office as we continue to expand our footprint in the state.”
