December 3, 2019 – New York, NY— Prager Metis is proud to announce that the firm has exceeded their goal of raising $250,000 in support of the Alzheimer’s Association for 2019. This milestone achievement is a testament to the strong and dedicated partnership between Prager Metis and the Alzheimer’s Association.

This year, the firm participated in numerous fundraising initiatives throughout the year, including bake sales, a Soul Cycle bike-a-thon, a staff talent auction, a firmwide scavenger hunt, and its first annual Swing For a Cure Golf Event. in 2019, Prager Metis was represented in eleven Walks to End Alzheimer’s throughout the country including Manhattan, Long Island NY, Greater New Jersey, Greater Washington, D.C., Los Angeles – Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles, and Woodland Hills – Miami, Las Vegas, Westport, CT, and Westchester, NY. In total, the firm has raised over $550,000 since their commitment to become a Gold National Partner began three years ago.
“Continuing our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association has been an incredible experience,” says Lori Roth, National Managing Partner of the Firm. “This is a perfect example of how at Prager Metis, we are part of something bigger.”
As a thank you to the entire Prager Metis team, the Firm will be closing from December 26, 2019 and January 1, 2020.
The Alzheimer’s Association works on a global, national and local level to enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. They are the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s research, the Association is committed to accelerating the global progress of new treatments, preventions and ultimately, a cure. Back in 1979, Jerome H. Stone and representatives from several family support groups met with the National Institute on Aging to explore the value of a national, independent, nonprofit organization to complement federal efforts surrounding Alzheimer’s disease. That meeting resulted in the April 10, 1980, formation of the Alzheimer’s Association with Mr. Stone as founding president.
